Default BES/Exchange Install Difficulty? - 05-29-2007, 03:31 PM

I just got my 8830 and like it, just use the BIS since I am the only one in my company to have and need a BB. We dont have exchange installed in the network at all, since we use Thunderbird for email.

How hard would it be for me to install Exchange (already have the software, just never installed it) and BES and implement them both and would it worth it, time wise?

I am fairly computer literate, just never used exchange before.

How hard? Well if you've never installed it you might want to play around with it for a bit before installing it and hooking up your primary email address to it.

Have you ever built an AD Domain? For one user; even yourself ... I wouldn't say its worth it. I've pondered it for my personal email and decided against it as I didn't want to deal with management and patching outside of what I already do at work.
