Another hope of mine was to be able to have ring and vibe at the same time. Not in 4.5.

its really not necessary and has been discussed many times. vibe then ring works just fine. if its on you, you dont need it to ring, if it isnt on you, you dont need it to vibrate.

Whether it's been discussed or not it's a personal preference and one that ppl might have wanted to know. It's very easy for Rim to add the option so why not do it?

Btw, congrats on the mod nomination. When did that happen or did i just never notice?

my guess would be not enough call for it. vibrate then ring has worked for them for the vast majority of people, until enough people submit the request to RIM its unlikely to change.
