I thought the 8130 could support up to 8gb (os 4.3)? actually my bb rep said the software will support up to 32gb...even though they dont make them that large yet.

7280 > 7290 > 8700c > 8100 > 8800 > iPhone (??) > 8320.....and i'll just keep going.

You didn't read the link just above your post?

The 8130 has OS 4.3 = 8gb

And yes, the size will continue to increase

It would be nice if the speed of accessing all that storage increased along with it.

I was replying to the poster asking about his 8gb not being fully utilized by the OS.
He uses an 8130 with sprint....4.3...if the media player cannot access the last 2gb of his music then it is in fact a bug.

I wouldnt know personally though. I only have a 2gb sandisk

Yes, it's floating around out there...most likely with some of the carriers but nothing has been released yet and likely won't for a while yet. Hopefully soon, though.

This rumor has been going on so long that it now officially null and void by order of the blackberry general.

Even less than before,

What killed me the most about this site being down was having to go to pinstack or crackberry to check if a new OS had come out.

Alright, "next week" is now "last week" so we've got a new "next week" to kick around. It all sounds vaguely familiar:

Cheshire Cat: Oh, by the way, if you'd really like to know, he went that way.
Alice: Who did?
Cheshire Cat: The White Rabbit.
Alice: He did?
Cheshire Cat: He did what?
Alice: Went that way.
Cheshire Cat: Who did?
Alice: The White Rabbit.
Cheshire Cat: What rabbit?
Alice: But didn't you just say - I mean - Oh, dear.
Cheshire Cat: Can you stand on your head?
Alice: Oh!

Not at all. The carriers were aware that BBforums was down so they decided to delay the release of the OS update one more week just to spite us.

I just upgraded to 4.2.2.184 just for the sake of doing something....

By the way, does it do anything new? I've heard it catches onto UMA signals better and stronger, but my luck is nil.
