Did anyone else think it was ironic that this thread "asking is it this week this week?" traveled back in time two weeks? So in this thread it was this week, then suddenly it was a few weeks ago... and still no 4.5.

This thread is starting to sound like a bad episode of Dr. Who...

Ziggy says theres an 93.2% chance that you're here to get the 4.5 code out to the general public.

(i know its a different reference but it just popped into my head for some reason)

Two months ago, I saw a provocative movie on cable TV. It was called The Net, with that girl from the bus.

I have been gone for a week so I didn't miss much if anything then. I do read both BB sites and both offer info that is beneficial, but then again I read a about 25 pda related sites a day.

The title doesnt specify which week, so technically its a reminder of this week and next week and so forth.
"Coming this week" will soon be a month from now.

Maybe I could stop checking this thread everyday. Maybe the world will be so different the day it comes out that I'll instinctively know without checking this dang thread.

Still, I can't stop checking...

Time is relative afterall. But when will this week become now and next week become last year?

Yes I know it makes as much sense as this thread does, just go with it!

I can stated without fear of successful contradiction that it did not come out the week of 2/11.

I remember getting my Curve after giving up on waiting for the Windows Mobile 6 update for my Blackjack that was always "days away". I have now been waiting since the end of last year for this point realease update on my Curve and at this point suspect the iPhone will sooner have push/sync and I will end up leaving RIM (again).

My curve is already old hardware and I am "jonesing" for something new that a software update won't fulfill at this point. The amount of time that this is taking for an update is really ridiculous at this point compared to the rate at which the market moves and other devices that have come out since.

Be very glad you can say your curve is already old hardware. For us Verizon users it's what we are waiting for (still!!!!!!!!!!!)

I don't think that's the solution. I'm really excited about the new OS as well! But it'll arrive when it arrives. No other solution but to wait. :( Sadly... hehe. Yay for OS 4.5 (When and IF it gets here ;) )

The annoying part is you cannot use DocsToGo without OS 4.5 so they are also stuck in limbo. If the next gen BB comes with 4.5+ before OS4.5 is launched by the carriers for current models I will just update my hardware and keep this as my spare.

I understand your impatience and need to fully enjoy your gadget lust. I upgrade every 2-3 qtrs ... but for some time I've been on regular phones to quench my thrist for thrills & fills. However when pricing here on Canada drops, then I'll be back with BlackBerry. You can try new applications or themes, or more organization of things you normally do on paper to pass the time just a lil' bit longer. Just yesterday at the grocery store I saw a suit without the jacket, belt holster, 8700r in hand and an 8x11 1/2" paper for a shopping list. I told him why not use an application for your routine & modified shopping list. He smiled - acknowledging that I recognized his BB - but the smile soon changed to confusion (I dressed in street attire; normally I do & prefer), then to uncomfortable inquisitive curiousity. I'll bet he left that shopping isle thinking "is there an app that does that?", "how did that punk know that that is possible?" . He didn't say a word in response though.

PS Doctor Who terrified me as a kid so much I froze on the couche with my dad beside me watching it. "Exterminate. Exxxterrrrminate! ExTeeerrrrminaaate!!!" Brrr.

Looking for that perfect signature, hmm.
