Default Reminder - Do NOT Post Links or Instructions on How/Where to Download BETA OS's

Please Login to Remove!

This is a last warning to those who have done it (3 times today). We understand that another site is BREAKING THE LAW by hosting these download links, but that does not mean it is an official hosting site (RapidShare hardly qualifies as that) and it definitely does not mean that you should feel the need to post the website or the links onto BlackBerryForums.com.

If you feel like you should have the need to post the links on this website, then I will invite you personally to find another BlackBerry-related website to spend your days on.

Thanks.

More Information: Beta OS Postings Please Read ASAP!

Come on people! We're lucky enough to even be allowed to talk about it here. Don't go ruining a good thing.

I do notice that the author of the release for that site is pretty defiant about sharing the products with the masses.

Could we specify that this applies to posting in the forum AND in private messages? I actually created a standard message to send back to people who ask because I am getting multiple messages per day. I'm even getting messages from established members (2000+ posts!!).
I can't tell if it is a complete lack of intelligence or laziness...

I have added the link to the forum announcement. I think both of your statements apply to those requesting the OS, to be perfectly honest. It makes one really not even want to participate or help out to a certain degree. I've just stopped replying to the majority of the PM's sent to me.

I have stopped responding to OS requests. Anytime I post about 4.5 I get them. Like I said in an earlier post, you are just going to be let down with 4.5 at this point.

Doesnt telling people where it is hosted help them find it?

I do agree that if you cant find it on your own, you have even less business doing so than the rest of us using pirated software...

Rapidshare doesn't have a search feature, or a warez site, its like megaupload or just an online hosting site, that gives links to the owner, and then the owner can share or not, but there is no finding it on the rapidshare.com site
