I understand that it's still in beta for another week or so. I'm waiting for the official North American release. Also, I'm concerned about memory. I used John Clark's thread...

http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...ee-memory.html

to remove voice dailing and other items to free up memory so I could add 3rd party aps & themes without worrying about memory running low and having stuff randomly disappear as a result. I'm tempted to wait for an update to that thread before updating.

With 4.5 you will not be able to do a forced update for error 507.

You can use my memory optimizing thread with 4.5. There are a few minor changes to file names but it's all about the same.

Any suggestions as to whether to remove voice dialing still, etc.

I killed VAD ages ago on mine... saved a ton of space. Somehow, I was hoping they'd improve it w/v4.5, or at least allow you to disable it. Too bad, it's a great concept.

I have no idea if it's been improved. I've not even tried it. I'm just not into voice command stuff. It never is convenient for me.
