Default 4.5.0.37 (Official) & BBWeather - 06-23-2008, 12:30 PM

Sorry if this is covered in another post. I couldn't find it.

Are there any known issues with BBWeather compatibility with 4.5. I'm using the offficial vodafone version so this really isn't a "beta" issue, but I'm thinking perhaps 4.5 users are more active in this forum.

To pre-empt the question... yes, I did re-enter TCP setting from Carrier specific APN/TCP settings - BlackBerryFAQ

It has NOTHING to do with 4.5; do you have the *latest* version of BBWeather (0.77 I believe) as that is the only one that works with any version of the BlackBerry. The weather website changed and you have to install the latest version.

Thx NJ - I wouldn't have thought to check - went thru that before.
I HAD the the latest version until I upgrated to 4.5. Somehow it reverted to .75 during the upgrade.

Thx to all for the great advice!

Just a possibility. I had this same problem. I discovered that the new SureType had inserted an invisible space at the end of the APN line. Once I deleted the space, BBWeather worked perfectly.
