Hi people, I don't know whether this is the right place to post this, but seeing as I'm using the .69 beta I thought I'd try here...

I have been upgrading with the various leaks of betas but recently (perhaps since .52) i've been unable to connect with my router (which is an orange livebox).

I think it happened when one of my computers had probs connecting to the wifi so I tampered with the router settings. Now the computer connects fine but now the 8320 connects to the router but stays yellow in the manage connections option.

Tried pulling battery, restarting router, changing settings on router & restoring fact defaults on router but nothings helped. So I'm unsure whether this is a blackberry os bug or whether my router is acting up

Is your router handing out the DNS addresses for your ISP or itself? Seems to be that it can't find the address of the gateway.

I'm not sure what to tell you as I don't know the address of Orange UK's UMA gateway. If you can find this information out then you can try pinging it from your computer. If you can't ping it from the computer then its a problem with your router/ISP's DNS.

Orange UK's UMA gateway is singlephone.orange.co.uk & the servicing UNC address is unc.singlephone.orange.co.uk:14001, and I can't ping it...

Does this mean I've gotta speak the orange people... :(

Before calling them, I would write down the important settings (wifi login stuff, etc) and do a factory reset on the Livebox, then reconnect your PC without messing with the settings. I'm pretty sure that's what these people will tell you to do anyway.
