Kevin from Crackberry said he's been using it for over 24 hours and that it's definitely a good build. There is definitely some improvements.

If you open Blackberry.alx for 147 you see that the word Javelin and Seawolf are now used in there!

...and kickstart and thunder...

Code:
<!-- Ring tones for kickstart -->
<!-- Thunder ring tones. Temporary for now. -->
...and FYI, this version has been out since atleast the 6th (and to partners as of Monday)...

P.S. - .148 is now the latest...

Just loaded onto my Bold (thanks faibs) and it seems like it's holding a 3G signal in my office, which I could never get before.

I just installed it. Waiting for Enterprise Activation to finish and then I will play around with it a bit. This has been the first update I have done that I didn't end up with an error message at the end. I doubt it has anything to do with the update but it was a nice added bonus for me.

So it is up and running without a hitch. Browser does seem a but quicker than previous builds. One thing though is that now I am on EDGE in my office and I used to get intermittent 3G signal, yet that may have something to do with ATT, will keep an eye on it.

It is from RIM, just not officially released by them. I have been running it for 7 hours now and no issues. It doesn't look like the memory leak issue has been solved, but I can't say if is better or worse.

It's a little better. It's about 5MB a day instead of the 10 I have been getting. But this should be in the beta forum and not here.

There is a thread open in the beta forum as well, can a mod combine the two?

Installed about 6 hours ago myself. So far, so good. Very stable and browser appears slighlt quicker. Hoping for better 3G signals and improved battery life. Hope everyone keeps posting improvements they find in this release.

This OS has NOT been released yet. There is no official download site. You may be able to find it on the internet but forum policy prohibits posting links to these downloads.

anyone getting a black intermittant hourglass then data arrows, then a repeating hourglass.
The hardware gets hot, and the battery drains quickly.

Been experiencing this on 134 / 147
Never happened on 125.

It's been more than 15 hours now and it's working fine & stable.

Memory leak is not that bad as it was on .134

Overall, nice and stable OS.

Chinese (Simplified) and Chinese (Traditional) are supported for viewing but not input (only Greek, Swedish, Danish, and Norwegian).

There is still a memory leak when using the browser and a minor one otherwise.
