Default Remove Slides-to-go or even word-to-go

Please Login to Remove!

I was wondering if anyone knows how to remove Slides-to-go or maybe even avoiding loading it in the first place. I have no reason to have it on my BB. I might not even want the WORD portion.

But is there a way to appropriately remove the module(s) associated with these applications?

Connect to the computer with DM and launch App Loader. You can remove Docs2Go in there, by unchecking the box for it.

Wirelessly posted (off to see the wizard)

I recommend keeping them on

There are some apps on the BB that will not work without them

I agree EZ. But I wonder if one only removed the SlidesToGo would the other apps not work? I know it is a problem with not installing DocumentsToGo.

Default Slides to go removed

I did just that. I use WTG and ShTG, but not SlTG.
I went to:
Options>Adv Options>Applications>Modules and removed all the Slides to go modules. Before that, I removed all the foreign lang. modules.

I've been usint the other 2 a ton, and have had no problems.

Same here I removed it all together on my wife's 8130 and have not had any problems, running .77.

Ah, that was the forgotten part of the question - all of those language modules. So, you removed them one at a time, module by module?

Thanks.

Now I just have to get up the courage to reinstall .77 since my 8830 kept locking up yesterday after the timeout/standby kicked in.

What apps? I like the concept of Docs to Go and have some use for the Word & Sheets programs, but Docs to Go is a huge application (or set of applications). I was actually just about to download a trial of eoffice to see if it's a smaller application to replace docs to go.

>> Edit >> Didn't like what was said on bulletin boards about eOffice. Also, eOffice was even a bigger application than Docs to Go, so I didn't even check out the trial.
