Difficult to say, it depends on carrier, language etc.

I don't know why JS is slacking. There's three updates that aren't on there.

I highly doubt you see people with 5.0 OS on their phones. What's the full OS? And what device?

This thread is not the place to ask, as has been stated several times in the thread, if you had read it.

Wirelessly posted (Curve 8310)

So then the 5.0 is known to be a beta which means sometime soon it could be in the wild for my device?

Soon? Probably not.

For instance, its been listed here in the thread as a know beta for over six months... still not in the wild. And the version I have seen of it, you wouldn't want loaded on your device anyway.

I highly doubt you will see it in the wild. At least until it's officially released by a carrier. There has been only one 5.0 leak and that was quickly pulled down. But you wouldn't want this build on your device right now anyway. Just like you don't want .10 on your 9630. :p Both suck, but 5.0 is a great OS.

I just thought I would lighten up this place with a picture showing that 5.0 is really coming.

This will run on the 8320? It's listed elsewhere as an official release in Italy. I've been running 4.5.0.124 on my 8320 for a few months now, with no problems, but I know that new releases sometimes improve memory handling, and I'd be interested in that. So can I use 4.5.0.140 on my 8320?

There is no .140 version released for the 8320 so, no, it won't work on the 8320.

You question has been answered HERE in this thread already.

I will again, since it seems to bear repeating about every 20 posts here.

The release versions in the initial post of THIS thread do not indicate that those releases are "in the wild". Most of the time, they are not. The release versions you see in that post come from various sources of people in the know, and other odd places, on which a few of us trust as reliable. The release numbers posted there may only be the latest RIM app version known, and still only 'internal'.

So, there's no need to ask in this thread. We've tried to keep this thread clean for only updates and such related to that initial post.

This forum has a Beta OS section. Please ask there. And don't be surprised if you get the same answer as the one above.
