Wirelessly posted

I have run an assortment of 4.5 beta OS, currently 4.5.0.102. With each version of the 4.5 os I have never been able to use themes. I have made sure the themes I have downloaded are built for 4.5 I have downloaded them ota and even used desktop manager. I have down hard and soft reboots still no theme located in the themes section, however are clearly installed and visable in the app section.
Befor you say it, yes I know its beta so I know its not perfect, but I have had this issue consistantly across all versions, and I know its possiable to load themes on beta 4.5 as I have helped co works and friends update their bbs and many of them seem to not have issues with this...
Can anyone shed some light on this issue?
Thanks

Do you have the Dimension Themes installed? See if any of these apply. http://www.blackberryforums.com/medi...emes-list.html

The link you provided is an OTA link which can't be used via the dektop manager. Try this link: Theme Downloader | RogersMJ.com

Do you have the dimension themes installed on your device, today, zen or icon. what ever theme your trying to install from RogersMJ you must have the bb dimension style on your device.

Just curious, do you have net_rim_plazmic_themereader.cod installed, too? I know I've sometimes fallen victim to overzealous deletion when upgrading to a new OS version.

Fair enough - just thought that might be causing the issue.

It would appear via post #8 that he/she tried to re-download the proper files provided in post #7...?

I just realised that the bPhone themes aren't the only ones that do not work. Other themes also do not work, so it's not something wrong with the theme.
