Default where to go to find the vendor for delete?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, I finally downloaded the the new os 45.0.110, but I am having trouble with the part that I was suppose to delete the vendor xlm.

can someone please tell me step by step in doing so. I read the instruction but having trouble following it. where is the c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader located? do I go to start and have to type it in or is it in the all program window? is it in my documents? please help.

thank you

You answered your own question. It's in c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader

Did you install the OS in your PC? If you didn't, you won't have the path or the vendor.xml file. You know how to see your C: drive right? "My Computer"?

Start in "My Computer" and drill down just as you described.

Hi thank you. I found it but it was the vendor from the last os I downloaded witch was 45.0.81 back in October 2008. should I have deleted the old OS from my pc before downloading the new? or will it work since I deleted it? the date on the loader ex. is from October 2008, and I just downloaded the new one today so Im thinking its the wrong 1.

thank you

you can delete the old OS or not, your choice. It should not interfere with anything.
