@WorldIRC - Was worried that you had slipped or lost interest - it was always someone else with "Who Has it?" lately it seemed.

Picking this up while travelling in Australia for work - let's see how badly I can ruin my business Bold...

Cheers!

Getting it now. Still on .237 and pretty happy with that, especially after debranding the Bold and using EDGE exclusively. Battery is no longer an issue.

.244 is bad! No matter what your encryption and compression settings are, pics are saved as .rem encrypted files and cannot be opened on your PC.

I'm staying with .241

when I read your post I checked right away. I even connected the phone to DM and transfered a couple of pics but I didn't see anything wrong. I upgraded from .216 since I've been lazy and I'm not hardcore beta tester. I had downloaded .234 but never installed it since the betas keep on comming faster than I decided to upgrade. Anyways I've been running .244 for 3 hours now and no issues. And I've tried prety much everything you can in that amount of time and I can't find anything wrong with this build. I have a good amount of sofware in my bold. I start at 44 megs of memory with only 3 themes installed so that gives you an idea. I also did not wipe the deviced, never had since I had an issue with my curve doing this.

So, when you take pictures, it saves them as .jpg or .jpg.rem?

Well, I upgraded to .244 last night, and haven't done much testing. Guess I'll go to .245 since it looks like an official build.

Haven't had .244 on long enough to test battery life, but I did have a weird SMS bug that fixed itself after a battery pull. I'm also noticing that on .244 the thumbnails load slower than my previous OS.

I'm getting ready to install now. Has anyone had any success with it? Any apparent issues?

Default media player - 03-02-2009, 02:05 PM

Been testing for a day or so...mostly fine. One thing I did notice though was when I go into media player and look at videos it pull all my podcasts files in there are well, even though they are audio files only. Wasn't a problem with .237 it recognized files correctly. Rebooted, and did a battery pull but still seeing the same thing.

Anyone else seeing this?

A quick question; What do you mean by 'debranding' the Bold? I almost ONLY use GPRS instead of 3G....especially in the office due to poor signal. Battery life has increased but still NOT acceptable by any means....

You mention that isty is no longer an isuue..? As in 2-3days with BlueT & WiFi on..?? Plese let me an the rest of us know. I for one would greatly appreaciate the Intel...

I'm on 4.6.0.228 (391) / Platform 4.0.0.192. Let me know if you need anymore info.

Cheers,

NokJaa.
