Default When will we get a NEW OS for the Bold - 07-26-2009, 08:31 PM

When I bought the bold (second in my area to do so), It was the best and greastest smartphone to ever hit the market. I still think it is one of the premier phones out there but everytime I turn around we get new OS for the Storm or for the 8900 or for this phone or that phone and I would like for my Bold to at least stay current with the times....I am not going to change phones, I like Bold and it's one of the best phones ever but please bring me up to the standards as everyone else..Thank you!!!

No one has a clue.

There hasn't been an 8900 update in quite a while.

What version of the OS are you running?

Frustrating! I tried 5.0.0.100 -- but it was a bit too flakey for my taste, so I fell back to 4.6.1.250. But that's not beta anymore. I can't believe I've been running a production level OS for weeks now. Somehow that just doesn't feel right. Time for a new release!

Please note that most third party applications do not run on v5.0 yet.
