Default Google Sync on OS 5.0 (Bold) - 07-30-2009, 01:42 PM

I can't get the link for Google sync to work on my Bold running 5.0.0.100.

The link is m.google.com/sync.

Does anyone know how to get it to work? I tried to do in from my laptop but I could get the files to download. I know it works because my fiance had it on her Bold when I upgraded it from 4.6.x to 5.0.0.93. It seems to work fine as long as it was loaded before the upgrade. Thanks for any help.

I had it working when I went from .100 to .130 but I had to tell it to re-sync and it is working fine. No problems what so ever...You may try to delete all files connected to Google sync and reload.

Thanks.

I'm having trouble getting it installed on a BB that's never had it installed. The Google Sync link doesn't workz from the browser so I can't install it. Any ideas?

I had the same problem on 5.0.0.100, the link to install Google Sync will not show in the browser. I don't think there's any way to get it unless someone can provide an actual full web address link to the installer.

I ended up downgrading to .282, couldn't install the new App World on OS 5 either.

I've seen this link on the Intertubes, but it no longer seems to work. (404 error) Anyone found a new link?

You're right. It's not working. I got it installed with the first link in this thread - which also no long works.

Does anyone have an updated like for Google Sync?

When I first upgraded, my DM had backed it up and reinstalled it for me and it worked perfectly. All that needs to be done is Google has to update their site to accept our new version that it detects from the browser. **hopes someone from Google reads this**

Actually, someone running it on 4.6 could back up the COD files and make them available online in a zip file? Any volunteers? =D

Hi,

Google Sync 0.5.15 doesn't work for me on OS 5.0.0.138.

I havent't got any pb for downloading app (from Google or other OTA), but I always have a Login failed.

I've setup all permissions on allow.

Any ideas ? There is a debug mode ?

Kindest regards
