Can anyone help me with how to load aim and gtalk after installing 5.0.0.190? I have tried installing from the web - it says my handheld doesn't meet requirements. I have trieed installing via my computer and the BB site and that won't let me. When I try to load from backup, it seems to be working and it copies the cods but then the apps aren't there (anywhere - app list or otherwise). I have even tried pushing the cods with bbsak.

Can anyone tell me how to get those two messengers back on? Thanks.

You probably can't. Most likely not compatible with OS 5.0 yet.

I can run AIM and GTalk--BUT via BeeJive-IM (or JiveTalk). I guess RIM hasn't released a version of AIM and GTalk that's tested to work with 5.0 builds.

I actually figured it out myself. If you want the rim messengers you need to open app loader and then browse to program files - common files - rim - common files and then browse to the os folder and you will see aim.alx and googletalk.alx

*i am typing this from my phone so I don't have all the exact paths and file names but I think most of you will get the idea. Good luck.
