Wirelessly posted

Have been using just upgrading from the latest offical release to 5.0.0.130 and still no MMS while on UMA?

Also, still no Facebook and Blackberry AppWorld? Is there a recommened 5.0.0.x that would have these features; working?

Thanks in advance for your advice and suggestions.

I tried one 5.0 OS early on and haven't tried another since. Too many things don't work.

You could always just wait for the offical release like everyone else in the world

I found 130 to be unstable on the 8900, however I've been using 5.0.0.190 for a while on it, and except for a couple of issues, it's actually been rather good -- as long as you're willing to do without a couple of items such as:
- Facebook app
- Vlingo
- GMail app (you can still get gmail via BIS)
- BBM 5 beta (doesn't work on this build -- apparently it's a new platform)

Overall -- I'm really liking 190...

I bounced into the beta forum to see if I could find an upgrade to my 4.6 on my 8900.

That is what I needed to hear, sticking with 4.6.
