I'd like to hook up a Storm or Storm 2 with official 5.0 builds to see if behaves the same way. I guess I have to steal one from one of our employees who has one!!

Anyone know where I can find the download to .230? All links I've found here and other forums are dead. I can only find Tour (9630): 5.0.0.273 and I hear that's buggy.

Yep, right after I posted above, I did the update to SYNC. Gawd, what a non-intuitive update process!! It seems to have cleaned up a few things, but yes, the auto-start of the music remains. I too am anxious for a 'real' 5.0 release.

I have just downloaded OS 5.0.0.230 for the Tour but I did have one question before installing it.
I use my phone to connect to the internet on my laptop. When I delete the vendor.xml file will I still be able to connect or will I start to have problems. I connect through BBDM 5.0.1.

Hey all. I just upgraded to .230 and everyhting is working great (After I re-downloaded a bunch of apps that got whiped off). The only think I can't get to work is Facebook. Saw something about have to downgrade it to 1.6. Something about access to the browsing service. Anyone have the same problem?

When browsing to a site such as Accuweather.com, and then visit the radar page for your area, and see if the animated version moves through the images. I have tried three sites with animated radar and the animation does not move on any of them. Not sure why. I just noticed it because it hasn't rained in about a month!

I have found with this release that mass storage mode randomly disconnects when attached to the computer. It's especially annoying when updating slacker and all of a sudden its saying it cant find the drive and my bb is asking me for the password to enable mass storage mode again.

has anyone else encountered this?

I had BBM5.0 installed under OS 4.7, and "selected" messanger when I installed OS 5.0.0.230. I was initially downgraded, then it came up with a message that a new version was available and it reinstalled BBM5.0.33. I also downloaded and reinstalled BB Apps and it works. So far, everything seems to work just fine.

ok downloaded .230 last night and so far everything running good. bbm is on and working and im running bbm5.0 facebook seems good so far bb weather good. so far no problems. app world on and running and used it to reload bbm it deleted both of those in transfer.

all i did was google 5.0.0.230 and in options in google just searched sites in past 24 hours and found an active one i know its dead now though my friend couldnt get it this morning

this is by design. it's not actually through BBM, it's just an improved interface to sms which includes threading.
