Default 5.0.0.190 has a hidden today screen?? - 09-25-2009, 11:46 PM

I messing around with the settings on the home screen and notice a option in the short menu. I selected and was able to select a today screen style... Even though i dont have any today screen themes on my 8900.

You're right! I'm running the same version and I just verified it.

I used to like the toady view but I'm not that impressed by the tiny amout of info it shows anymore.

Can anyone post a screenshot of this? I'd be interested in seeing what RIM calls a today screen these days.

Interesting. I doubt there would be any way to alter what displays (has this ever been possible outside of installing a new theme), so I too don't like this implementation. Oh well, I'll just continue to use my own today theme since I just want to see as many calendar entries as possible.

The best Today theme is the one that's compatible with .190 and won't reset your icons to factory after a battery pull. Works for me...!
