The new beta will not work on OS 5.0

There was someone who found a way of getting the older 1.1.2 version of Beejive working on and older OS 5.0; However I've not been able to get it to work on mine.

Check out the Beejive forums at Beejives website

The work around that I mentioned using 1.1.2 (check here).

I have 1.1.2 working, got it from app world. Had the beta prior with 4.6 and loved it! It was the first bb app I ever saw with a color blind option!!

Default Big problem after upgrading 8900 to 5.0.0.348. Actually worked great for everything o - 11-16-2009, 10:11 AM

Big problem after upgrading 8900 to 5.0.0.348. Actually worked great for everything on the phone BUT then I could no longer hook to DeskTop Manager. DeskTop Manager says is an incompatible OS. Causes me great heartache when I couldn't figure out how in the world I could downgrade back when I couldn't hook the phone to the DeskTop Manager. Finally remembered a trick a Tmobile Rep had taught me once. Take out the battery and then hook to DeskTop Manager. This worked. First of course I had to take the new OS off of my computer and put the old one on. Hope this helps someone else! P.S. Be sure and put the battery back in during the process so that the phone will be able to "reboot".
