Curious... if you look in the loader files... there is Bejewelled Twist and a few other apps; anyone know about how to load them? DM doesn't like it when I make the attempt to load it...

423? We are talking about 421 and now there is a 423 already out there somewhere and you hear rumors it will become official?

That's what the birds are saying.

FYI - the shorter than 10 digit SMS bug still exists in .421

More testing today. Definitely something different in .421 over .415. I'm using Clear's new WiMAX internet modem with a Buffalo wireless router running DD-WRT behind it. With .415 I can get the WiFi to connect to the BB network with no issues. It lights right up. With .421, I can connect to the TCPIP but nothing to BB. I've moved back and forth between .415 & .421 several times. Definate issues. I'm back on .415.

Does anyone know if there is a possibility to get the 3G only selection in Mobile Network Options like in some builds for the Bold 9000?

Thanks and best regards,

There's a 3G only selection? If you're referring 2G only that option is available in .296 and .415. I would imagine it is in various other releases as well, but those are the only two I have loaded on my 9700 thus far.

Planning to install .421 tomorrow and will report back.

I'm having battery issues with this release. It literally went from 60% to 5% in the matter of a couple hours and work me up 2am this morning with an annoying orange warning light!

May go back to .415 to see it improves as battery for me on .421 sucks unfortunately. I've had a couple of major pop-ups as it wanted me to reboot as a major module had been upgraded or something.

Not a happy customer here.

on a few texts a corrupt data line shows up. but it only happens at certain times. in the picture below you can see it at the top. if i scroll up or down it goes away. sometime it shows up. anyone else have it. it only shows up when scrolling down.

not worried about a thing. but its just odd.

That's interesting. Previous posts I read said battery life improved on .421 which is why I downloaded it. Haven't installed it as of yet though. Given your post I may hold off for a bit. I'm going to be traveling a lot over the holidays and really need the best battery life possible.

I know. I was confused myself as I waited to see what the outcome was of early testers. I'm going back to the previous BETA and if that doesn't improve things, I'll go back to .321 until .425 appears.

I am really just as confused as you are, but .421 on my 9700 has beaten up my battery life.

I installed it this afternoon but have not yet had the time to conduct a full battery test. So we'll see if I stick with it or not. I must say it does seem snappier so I hope battery life fares well. The battery life on .296 (what my 9700 shipped with) was amazing, kinda miss it. Not even .415 came close to beating it but I really like the multi-language support which the betas offer. Compromises

Forgot to mention that this was working just fine in the 4.6 releases on the Bold 9000.

Does anyone live where you can make a call or sms someone where you don't use 10 digits?? Every place I travel to you must dial the area code before calling.

I'm having an issue that I haven't really seen an answer for on here. I have this latest OS (.421) and I'm having an issue where the text message at the top of the message list (top name, regardless of who it is) sticks. IOW, it will not select that name or open the message. Never had that issue with the stock at&t OS. Any ideas?

Default Calendar issues

Has anyone else had this problem? When I go to my Calendar in Agenda view, some items appear to be missing. They're in the other views (week, month, etc). When I scroll up or down, they sometimes appear, and then disappear again. I've read this was an issue with earlier releases, but was supposed to be solved. It seems to be back in these latest beta releases. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Got a question, do any of these builds have BBMaps icon/app pre-installed and no longer hidden??
