| Thank you. You beat me to post it. I had issues with my spell check in .530. I will definitely give this one a shot.

| Cool. I think I will just watch the boards for a bit before I upgrade. If there's anything worthwhile, I may do it.

| I don't have anything to do this afternoon, so I'll probably give it a shot in about 30 minutes. UPDATE: Upgraded fine. It does not reboot when put into holster, so that's an improvement over .530. No other obvious changes at this time.

Thanks

| I heard from someone else that when it's locked, the screen goes completely black - like it's off.
Any of you experience that?

Thanks | When you hit the lock button on the upper left and hold the 'A' key down, it does the new "standby" where the screen goes dark without the standby message and the keyboard locks.
When you kit the 'K' key or ball select the "Password Lock" icon (as it's now called, with the 'K' underlined), it does a full password lock with content protection.
The mute button on the upper right does nothing related to standby/locking.
So it seems that they have probably finished the changing of the standby/locking functionality and brought back the functionality that was lost in the other builds. I preferred the standby on the mute button just because of the way I put my BB in my pocket and my hand position when I take it out, but I'll adjust to the lock button after a little bit.

Any of you experience that? | On standby, it does go completely black and only lights the screen to warn you it's locked if you hit the start call, end call, menu, or back buttons. Hitting any other buttons and the screen stays dark.
On password lock, the screen lights and prompts you to unlock/emergency call/cancel if you hit any of the above buttons, or starts typing in the password box if you hit any keyboard keys.

| I have one notification issue that I'm not sure is an OS or BBM issue...wondering if it will be resolved with this OS.
When I have a BBM Group convo open, showing the conversation, I don't receive any notification when someone says something in the convo.
I currently have .484 and BBM .57. Only happens with BBM Groups, not individual conversations.

| I upgraded last night and all is working well. I did just find an oddity though (not sure I'd call it a bug).
When I take a picture and then press the Menu button I have 2 'Send/Share' options on the pop up menu. This only happens right after I've taken a picture. If I close the camera and then open the picture up later, the option is there once (as 'Send or Share').

I think someone copied and pasted...i'm sure it'll be cleaned up in a future build.

| i hope this build doesn't get tossed because of that. i think this is the best build yet, better than .419. i have not noticed any issues yet.
the 1 major issue i had with .419 which seems to be fixed now was that if cradled, then taken out of the cradle, then put back in shortly after, the screen would turn white and you'd have to hard boot to fix it.

| I have the previously reported issue in the browser; clicking on a link is a little buggy... typically I have to click it 3-4 times... or just hit enter. I didn't load .530, but I think this was a bug in that build too?
Otherwise, everything else seems fine. | | Offline
