I DL'ed the above leaked OS file yesterday from here, and no longer see it listed. I haven't tried to install it.

Does anyone know about .415--is it a valid file--i.e., good, buggy, corrupt, etc.?

There is a thread on .415 for the 9700 here:

BlackBerry Bold 9700 OS 5.0.0.415 Leaked

Btw, that's a pretty old OS. The current official release is more recent than that OS.

Any reason you'd choose such an old leak? Why not go for the most recent carrier released version? There's been about a dozen versions released since the one you're asking about.

OK--thanks for the prompt replies.

I thought I was DL'ing a new OS, but I guess I was wrong. I have currently installed the following:

9700jAllLang_PBr5.0.0_rel1022_PL5.1.0.147_A5.0.0.5 93_CSL_Limited_customers.exe

and it's obviously newer. Works very well for me, BTW

No, it's not. It's an officially released OS. Not a leak.
