Thank you, getting it now.

John Clark 11-04-2010 04:55 PM

Who's tried it?

penguin3107 11-04-2010 05:27 PM

I'm not going to bother. Current AT&T released OS is rock solid, fast and has great battery life. I can't think of any good enough reason to switch from it.

NJBlackBerry 11-04-2010 06:02 PM

I keep having dropped calls on the last leak so I will try this one. Released OS was laggy for me.

tbird57 11-04-2010 06:11 PM

I am trying out, even though 246 is working.

I'm sticking with .246 for now I think ;)

Any feedback on fixes and improvements with OS .337?

tbird57 11-04-2010 10:52 PM

I have had it installed for a few now. browser is working smooth,it optimizes better on the screen with big improvement when touching links to open in the browser, browser scrolls very smooth, flawlessly keeps rolling without much finger effort on the screen(very nice suddle improvement),notification tab is working fine with email and texts(although no problem before)
My 3G signal improved, that's a big plus for me!(very happy about that)

314MB free memory.

tbird57 11-04-2010 11:16 PM

I don't know if the SMS bug was fixed,I don't use it....

John Clark 11-05-2010 12:34 AM

I like it.

The font is slightly larger on the notifications screen and the calendar dates are no longer cut off when in portrait mode.

Mail opens when using the touch screen on the notifications screen.

Scrolling seems to be smoother over all and more responsive.

This one is worth the trouble, IMHO.

AZsteelman 11-05-2010 09:01 AM

hmmm....thinking about doing this one...time for an upgrade?

John Clark 11-05-2010 09:13 AM

The only thing I notice is that links in emails seem to be harder to touch to open. Same in the browser.

I found just the opposite,I found myself using the touchpad to click on links more often with .246 not the case with this release.

John Clark 11-05-2010 09:39 AM

I have to touch links in emails several times before they respond.

well John, now that you mentioned it...I tried touching an email link and had to touch several times before opening.. but I don't have that problem opening links in the web browser.

OS6 is great!
I love and enjoy it so much!
I will keep OS6 and while waiting for official OS6 release from At&T

jimfraser 11-05-2010 10:45 AM

I will definitely give latest official .284 a pass and download this one, although I have found .246 pretty solid. (However having a solid OS never stopped me before from trying the latest and greatest).
Probably wait until Monday until I actually install it to see if any serious issues are uncouvered (and our IT guy is around in case I have bes reactivation issues.)

the "dancing" email icons thing is still here...

John Clark 11-05-2010 11:41 AM
