| Re: BlackBerry Torch 9800 OS 6.0.0.450 Lots of nice suttle changes, most noticeable, touch screen working much better when touching the links in the web browser(Big Improvement), they added more sensitivity numbers to choose in the touch screen sensitivity.
Virtual keyboard pop-up letters are larger.
Still have some slight occasional lag when navigating about my device.
Nice...so far after 48hrs no major problems!

Additionally when battery is full stock baattery icon shows a blacked out plug symbol now on battery.
Options>Device>Device and Status Informatiom screen is expanded out.
My device overall seems more responsive over .246 thusfar. Posted via BlackBerryForums.com Mobile | | Offline

Posted via BlackBerryForums.com Mobile | Yes,the volume is louder...I made a custom ring tone for my 8310 because they killed the db output when they introduced OS 4.5!
I am now using it on the 9800.

| Re: BlackBerry Torch 9800 OS 6.0.0.450 Installed .450 last night
- the picture lag is still there after swiping through 7 pictures, then it's about every 5 or so afterwards.
- The Text Message bug where it didn't open to the most recent message is fixed. FINALLY! That one drove me nuts.
- Love the thumbnail view of bookmarks!
- Touching a link on a web page is instantaneous in response now. No more tapping, pushing, trying to make it work.
I love this update so far. We'll see how it works in "real life" today @ work. | | Offline

| Re: BlackBerry Torch 9800 OS 6.0.0.450 I downloaded .448 on Friday. Did not install while waiting for initial reviews. Wondered what the difference was between .448 for 9700, which seemed to available for a while before .448 for the Torch became available for download. That is academic now with .450. Will delete .448 and download .450 shortly. | | Offline

| Re: BlackBerry Torch 9800 OS 6.0.0.450 Been running for about 24 hours now. Seems like a solid update. Still no fix for WiFi disconnect issues however which is a downer. Links are much easier to select in the browser which is a big plus for sure. They were impossible sometimes in the earlier releases. Small subtle changes here and there, overall positive impression. | | Offline

| Re: BlackBerry Torch 9800 OS 6.0.0.450 Working well for me (two days so far).
But I have noticed a strange thing - with the new 450, I must have that installed on my computer for the tether to work - otherwise I get an error message.
This is different to when I had 337 installed - then I could use on any computer with Blackberry Desktop installed and no underlying OS.
I am away at present, so am using my laptop. While away I decided to do the 450 upgrade. Once done, I uninstalled 450 off the laptop just to keep things nice and clean....and the tether failed! Reinstalled 450 and it works again! | | Offline

| Re: BlackBerry Torch 9800 OS 6.0.0.450 I have been getting the "Uncaught Exception" message.
On verifying, it appears it is caused by Windows Live Messenger installed via BBAW... which actually would not start.
Unistalled WLM and reinstalled it several times with no success. The error message appears systematically as soon as I install WLM, and it would never start.
Reinstalled it via the direct link on the browser. Same result.

Unfortunately the Third Party Applications list is still empty

| Re: BlackBerry Torch 9800 OS 6.0.0.450 Installed on Friday. Everything went well. BES activated without incident. As with pervious versions of 6.0.0 undates I got really nervious on final reboot durning install in that progress bar goes three quarters then seems to stop forever before finally completing and starting up. It really gets stuct at three quarters so might be tempted to think the install has frozen the device.
The biggest change that I have noticed is the tiled browser history/bookmarks, which once you have opened saves the bookmark as an image of the web site.
Only issue, which I hope is a glich on BES, is that appintment/calandar events not syncronizing. e-mails and contacts working fine, but am missing new calandar entries on my blackbery, Hope its a setting on the BES that needs to be tweeked or restarted. | | Offline
