| Re: Bold 9780 leaked OS 6.0.0.480 Wonder if it includes the latest BBM release with a working cursor and if the word substitution backup has been addressed? Has anyone tried either of those yet?

| Re: Bold 9780 leaked OS 6.0.0.480 BBM .149 is included, so the cursor issue has been addressed. Word Substitution backup and restore is still an issue - as it will not backup everything, and will not restore with anything over the stock word list either...this is what you get --
Your BlackBerry® Device Software is updated and you can safely disconnect your device.
Warnings were encountered during the loading process:
The following database(s) could not be fully restored to your device:
"Word Substitution" 5 of 6 entries restored
The backup data file has been saved to "C:\Users\stevew.....documents\LoaderBackup-(2011-03-01).ipd".
Piss me right off - I live on Word Substitution....

| Re: Bold 9780 leaked OS 6.0.0.480 I'm getting double-characters with typing and this release. Not sure if it is the release or the device. Though this is a new occurrence. Also found a slight reduction in battery life.

| Re: Bold 9780 leaked OS 6.0.0.480 Didn't notice either of the two. Battery life is so random and subjective, I can never tell if one release is better or worse than another, but truthfully, as far as double characters go, I can say that hasn't happened to me, except when my thumbs get too clunky - LOL

It might.... It might not.

| Re: Bold 9780 leaked OS 6.0.0.480 I've looked all over if anyone else was having this same issue I was but I'm on Tmobile and I find on this version and my wife's cell that daily I have to do a battery pull cause the network would degrade in the house from UMA to uma then GSM, if I go outside then it would just stay on GSM till I would have to do a battery pull. This happens typically after a few hours the service would just degrade to the lesser.
I guess no one else is seeing this. Was thinking to try deleting this and a fresh install, but its crazy that this is on two cells at the same time. | | Offline
