i want to access facebook v2.0 for blackberry on my 9780 but it asks for a blackberry beta zone membership, is this a paid service? or do i need to be a blackberry enterprise server user? oh and can i use it in the UK?

no it's free. go to blackberry.com/beta and register as a beta tester participant. then sign up for the facebook 2.0 tester program and download it using ur BBs browser. then wait a few mins to get ur unique keycode email which u enter when u launch fb 2.0 for the 1st time. thats it. :) good luck. oh and you do need a data plan of some sort.

Very happy with the latest FB beta, much improved over the current release. Highly recommended!
