Hello, first off these forums are phenominal i've learned a great deal about my blackberry from this site since i've purchased my BB yesterday. Anyways my question is this, i using hearing aids due to a severe hearing loss. I perfer to use the speaker phone feature on my cell phones due to back ground interferance when i place the phone to my ear. My question is this, is there a way to set the 7520 that when i answer an incomming call or make an outgoing call that it uses the speaker instead of the handset? i've found how to change it using the dial, or the + SYM but i must first answer the call then wait the delay time for it to switch between headset and speaker. Anyways any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

I as well have not found another way to do it yet either....i just use the bluetooth....

Per the Blackberry Support desk at Nextel there is no option for answering with the speakerphone. As far as bluetooth unless they make an over the head headset i would be unable to use it as my hearing aids are behind the ear and i cannot use the in ear or on ear models. But thats another issue for another day i guess. But thanks for all of your help! -Jim

Hello somebody recently posted about a new bluetooth speaker phone so I was thinking maybe you could buy that and then turn on auto answer to the speakerphone?
