after performing the security wipe, all the internet and email services were disabled. doesn anyone know how i can fix this problem? thank you, and please help out. it would mean a lot to me.

All that wiping the handheld will do is delete the service books and application data. The Internet and Email should function fine afterwards unless you are on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server. You will need to reactive the device on the Server and then your corporate email and BlackBerry browser will work again. I would contact the Carrier to check out why it is not working if you have Internet Email on the device. The Internet Browser and Wap Browser should work fine and so should your BIS (Hotmail, Gmail, etc). That is configured based on a PIN # in your account. Try to login and push out the Service Books if that is the case. Hope this helps!!

507 means no operating system.

Download the latest version of the 7280 O/S (check out the Sticky Thread in the General BlackBerry Discussion Forum).

Install the program you just downloaded

Locate and delete VENDOR.XML from your PC C: drive

Restart Desktop Manager and it will load.
