I have 3rd party applications and nondefault themes & schemes. I backed up my BB and then wiped it. After restore, I lost the 3rd appl, themes & scheme. How could it be? I should install them again? And then after next wipe, I have to do that again? Is there any good solution?

I have posted a "How To" on backing up 3rd party applications. I think its in the "RIM Software" forum. Either there or "General BlackBerry Discussion"

During an upgrade the process is automatic. If you wipe the device first you will lose 3rd party apps.
