Need help to restart desktop manager

You must have a valid email account on the PC under Outlook before the DeskTop manager will connect.

Need more information William. What are you trying to do and what is happening.

of course, I dont have a clue whats wrong with yours... but after i upgraded to TMO 4.1, I couldn't connect. I shut down the BB, removed the battery for 30 seconds and still didn't work. I wiped the handheld and then it finally took.

i'd recommend you do this as a last result - b/c if you can't connect and you wiped your handheld - your not going to be too happy.
