Default Can't see my old emails - 11-06-2005, 05:09 AM

Just got a new 7100T on BES and got setup just fine, all the folders on the phone are empty apart from the INBOX are empty even though there is mail in them in outlook and on the exchange server .... I have read through some threads and saw how to enable to folders for sync which all made sense, problem I have is in Outlook 2003 any new emails that come into my INBOX and then moved another folder show in the phone but any existing emails don't, have tried moving them but just can not see what I am missing, any help?

KonTiki, why must you be so pushy? It would seem that this is a place for people to come and get help. I am new to this forum, and I see that you are setting a trend of making this a very unfriendly place. Everyone who joins, comes to learn, and while I understand you frusteration that people need to search more before asking a question, there is no reason to be so baligerent. Us newbies to appreciate the help and understanding. Thanks.

Hi,

Does it seem as if you cannot see any messages prior to your activations of the device? If so, then it might be an option on the BES. Had the admin change the settings of how many days back to store on your device. Thanks.

i know we push to the search button

Remember some of these peeps dont read the rules and most of them dont even know how to use the search button.. Sad, but true....

Everyone has their own way of recommending the search button. Our intent is not to scare people off. Keep in mind as well that, in text, a sentence loses all emphasis in the appropriate places.

KonTiki is a valuable member and he is SUPER NICE, just as many other members and mods here are.

I took his sentence very casual and not pushy. See the difference in the written text? Two different people can read two different things. Keep that in mind when reading the posts here.
