Hi lennew1lv, welcome to the site. You've got to provide some background before anyone can help you. For starters, what BB model, did you download over air or thru desktop manager, what software? There are some really smart folks here (I'm not one), but they need info. JT

I am having pretty much the same problem on a 7520. I have downloaded the latest OS. I am getting a Catasrophic failure error, JVM 523, 525, 529 and a square box with a square, circle and triangle and a ring with a slash around the box. I got the errors before I tried redoing the OS. HELP.

Lifestar, this unfortunately happens from time to time when loading updated firmware. Although the device won't properly boot you may be able to get Desktop Manager to recognise it - if so run the Application Loader and try reloading the software. This has worked for me on a number of ocassions.

I got frustrated and dropped it off at Nextel today. They said 24 to 48 hours for return. THANKS for the info though.

Cool Fix for Blackberry 7520 hourglass spinning thing

Here is what worked for me when my 7520 hour glass kept spinning for hours:
ALT-CAP-DEL, then as it turns on again ALT-CAP-DEL again.
