Default BB Router in the DMZ

Please Login to Remove!

Anyone have step by step process to configure a BES 4.0.
I read the white paper Placing the BB Router in a DMZ, but it's very confuse.
Thanks

why do you want to do this? putting the router in the DMZ would mean you have to open up many more ports than would be the case if you just had the BES and router in the network.

How so? How many ports do you think the BES takes to make a connection to teh router?

Router in the DMZ is fine. Just as long as you configure the BES to use the specific ports available to communicate with the router in the DMZ.
