Default Can I install express on Small Business Server?

Hi All,

Just got O2 8700 Blackberry in the Uk. Downloaded blackberry express. I have MS Small business server 2003 in the office & Server 2003 R2 but no exchange installed. Can I use express on SBS if so anyone got step-by-step install I can follow or point to a thread were it has been covered already?. My 1st posting to this board you guys & gals have some cool tips & stuff here i'm gonna be around here for some time!!

Yes, you can install BES Express on SBS, but you have to be using Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino, or Novell Groupwise. If not, BES isn't going to do anything.

Sorry exchange is running on the SBS, ok, just installed BES express but when i run the blackberry manager i get this warning message:-

"Failed to open the default message store using MAPI 'Blackberry manager' you will not be able to send messages via email"

I was logged in as Administrator and not BESAdmin !!!!!

message now gone!.
