Default 8707v manual in Japanese - 11-21-2006, 11:04 AM

We have a large number of Japanese nationals in our UK office (we're a Japanese company) and are issuing 8707v handsets as they work over in Japan.

With the UK issued 8707v you get a A5 (small) handbook of core functions.

Is there a PDF of a Japanese language version of the same manual?

I want this for a UK issued handset, not a Japanese 8700 device.

Thanks

well you are not going to find a Japanese version of UK device, but devices are all the same, and so are the settings, mostly just cosmetic difference, and branding. so why not use a Japanese 8700 manual.

Default manual in Japanese - 12-03-2006, 11:02 PM

hi,

you will be lucky. I've heard a whisper that docomo may market the blakberry to JApanese customers from next March.
Rest assured a JApanese version of the manual will be available if that happens.
At the moment the device is only marketing to English speakers, although all teh websites with information on how to get one are only in Japanese

laters,

Sarumo

Yep. The device works sweet in Japan and you can even install the language packs so you can have the menu in Japanese but as for a manual, no go at present but I'll have a chat with RIM to see if I can get you one!
