Trust me... you dont want them signing up. They would troll this place and shut it down for 72 hours.

I just want to give them your advice without linking it.

John Clark, you are thanked. I just finished optimizing my Blackberry, and not only did I gain a ton of space, but got some nice themed in the process.
Thanks for posting the info.

I don't think I understand your question. You can add themes the same way for the VZW pearl, if that's what you're asking.

If you follow my instructions precisely, it will work. If you're not comfortable, then don't do it.

Open the .alx file with Wordpad or another text editor (not notepad.)

Yes, sounds like a Vista issue. I don't run Vista so I'm not much help. Are you an administrator on the computer?

Also make sure you have the right privileges on the pc that you are using. You should have write ability.

you can't save it directly with Vista. Copy the file to your desktop first, then open the file from the desktop on your notepad, then save it back to your desktop, then copy it from your desktop back to the shared file location.

unlocking is just allowing the phone to work with a carriers SIM other than the original that the phone was sold with.

Ditto. Thats what I had to do last week to get it to work on my new laptop running Vista.
