Help! - Reboot Loop :( 9700
 

My phone froze earlier.. I removed battery and when I replaced it.. The dreaded reboot loop!

I have tried to follow a few of the 101s online.. I have blackberry desktop software.. is desktop manager different?

I also tried going through programme files and launching the loader.. however I had different options from the ones stated!

Any help MUCh appreciated x

I have tried the apploader..

It detects my exact pin.. COM1 option is never available as well as UNKNOWN?

Please Anyone ? :(

First, if you are using a microSD card, remove it and try again. If no go, then do a search on safe mode, see if you can bootup in safe mode, and do a backup. The see Is your BlackBerry Nuked? - BlackBerryFAQ.

Some PC's dont allow the USB port to load during safe mode. Some do.

Interesting. How would the computer know, and why would it care? I would have assumed safe mode was a BlackBerry internal thing invisible to the computer. Maybe visible to desktop manager. But to the computer?
