Curve wont update to OS 5.0
 

i try updating my BB it starts and then says " There are no available updates for your blackberry device"

HELP :cry:

Which version are you running right now? You could download the newest OS installer file from your carrier, then install it on your computer. If the desktop manager doesn't update your device at that point, you could download BBSak and wipe the device manually. The Desktop Manager will see the blank device and load the newest OS installed on the computer. Make sure you do a backup before you start this.

Do you have a Blackberry Data Plan?
If yes, have you located and deleted Vendor.XML from your PC C: drive?

i am on a BB plan but i havent deleted the XML file would this help??

i am on a BB plan, i have contacted my carrier and they couldnt help *typical* so i am going to try the BBSAK thank you, i have already made a back up thank you

Delete the vendor.XML file first!

what gloom? It may be that you already at the highest level. Is your OS shown correct?
If not go to RIM and download the latest. from O2_UK
