Default My phone does not ring for long

Hi I am new to the forum.

I just got my BlackBerry Torch 9800 on Friday and loving it. I have set it all up and only found out today that when someone calls me it does not ring for long will then go to voicemail. Can someone help me. Thanks

Most carriers have ring times hard-limited to 30 seconds before transferring to voicemail.

How long is "for long"?

And please update your profile to reflect your current cell carrier. We know that it isn't "Torch". It helps to know that information when you have a problem such as this one.

it rings for about 15 seconds and then switches to voicemail. Went to MTN, was told i have to switch voicemail off in order to have it ring longer, now waiting for customer service to pick up. Had the HTC phone before and I'll diffinately take the Blackberry over HTC.

Problem solved phoned customer service and they extended my ring time.
