i recently got a jvm error 529 and the gfirst thing i did was try to figure out a way to fix it i was told to wipe the phone and re install the operating system but i cant get my device to be recognized on my computer

what did you do after you saw the error? it's important

after the error i pulled the battery and tried to re boot my phone but it happened again so i tried to connect it to my computer and it wont connect

Ok , Read this and check the KB file indicated. Not much else you can do.

it your charging port working in the phone..look at it and make sure that none of the 3 pin in the center are na missing

You could also D/L BBSAK (Blacberry Swiss Army Knife) and see if that will work - use Google to find a d/l site.
