Default BB Storm 9550 Internet connection problems

Please Login to Remove!

I recently acquired a Storm 2 (Verizon) and I am not able to connect to the internet. When I try, a message pops up indicating that that is a "Wi-Fi service. Please ensure your device has a Wi-Fi connection and try again."

How do I change it to be able to use the internet without Wi-Fi?

I am also in an extended coverage area, but was able to use the internet last week...

The browser is set as default to Hotspot Browser
Change it to Internet Browser
Options [wrench icon] - advanced - browser config - top option.

...and if that doesn't do it, I would recommend a powered on, battery pull for one minute, reboot... and try again.
