I bought the white blackberry 8520 yesterday... turned it on, set it all up etc... but decided to use the Blackberry Desktop Manager to transfer files from my old blackberry.. contacts, photos, etc. However it ended up completely changed the configuration of the phone.. I ended up with 3 email accounts.. 2 of which dont even exist anymore and it wouldn't let me delete, it said I had facebook downloaded but I couldn't find it anywhere on my phone, it was just generally a mess so I went to Options - Security Options - Security Wipe and deleted everything... but its still weird... when I install facebook it says 'reinstall' and then disappears to wherever the hell it was before. When I go to set-up email address, it already has the address saved but there is no folder for it anywhere in the menu!
Can anybody help me to COMPLETELY reset the phone, as if it has never been turned on before??!

1. Wipe with Jl_cmdr (see the FAQ).

2. Reinstall the OS (see yellow sticky at the top of the 8500 section for the specific OS for your device and instructions).

3. Follow the instructions exactly and be patient. It can take an hour or longer.
