Default Exchange ActiveSync on 9800 torch

Please Login to Remove!

My university which is currently suffering from harsh budget cuts just switched email systems. Previously I had it synced with my blackberry and it was just as simple as putting in the right password. Now the email system is part of microsoft live outlook and won't sync with my torch. It says that my phone either needs exchange activesync or to set it up for pop3 or imap4 server. This is all really frustrating because nothing is helping, and I'm having to deal with this new email system that all in all is a giant turd compared to what i just had. Could anyone possibly help me with this annoying problem?

You can set up a Pop3 or IMAP using BIS. You need to log into the BIS account, and enter the user name, password and incoming email server.

Maybe a chat with the school's IT staff would be in order?
