recently I've updated my desktop manager to version 2.0 ( version for mac users ) and my BB 9700 device software to 5.0.0.862 ( platform 5.1.0.175 ) but Unfortunately when i tried to restore my last backup but I was surprised because the program refuses to restore the data and then a window appears telling me :

The restore failed due to an unexpected error.

Try restoring your data again. If the issue continues, please contact RIM technical support.

the bad point is when i was trying to choose my last backup there was a note telling me : dimmed entries are read only data bases and cannot be restored .

please tell me what to do because I'm in a very big trouble and I need to have all the data Which previously stored in the last backup..

note : i am a mac user
