I am a new user with Blackberry phones. I have been a huge iPhone fan but recently wanted to try using blackberry. I am a ATT user. But i do not want to have a blackberry data plan. I only want to be able to call and text and then use wifi at my house school etc.

Is it easy?

How would i do it?


I am going to buy a blackberry curve or bold off of craigslist once i figure out how to do it!

Its not possible to have a blackberry on the AT&T network without a blakcberry data plan.
Though you can opt to not add it, AT&T scan their network of IMEI numbers and once a blackberry IMEI is found, a blackberry data plan is automatically added to your account.

And you cannot get the WiFi service book from AT&T without a BB data plan.
