hi all got a new blackberry curve today an 8520, im having some problem with the wifi

im on o2 but i have talktalk broadband, i dont have a bolt on set up yet for the unlimited internet and i wanted to get some apps so i tryed to connect to my home wireless, now it lets me connect and says its connected i was able to download the facebook app from app world but i cant use the browser and its kinda slow on the app world.

im not sure what i can do to get it to work properly

PS im from the UK

any help would be great need any details just ask thanks.

Go to your wifi/connection options and set it to "wifi preferred"

You can't. Harrison doesn't realise this feature is only on UMA enabled handsets.

You need the bolt-on. [Facebook won't work without it, technically neither should app world]. The browser requires the bolt-on also.

The bolt-on allows you to connect to Blackberry's servers and get something called "service books". These control access to the things on your phone. The browser requires the proper service book, which you get once you have the bolt-on.

thanks, so once i get the bolt on ill be able to use the internet on my home wireless aswell? just so it can be faster while im at home.
