|  Media Sync Woes--Why are playlists grayed out?

Media sync infuriates me for the following reason--it won't let me sync playlists from iTunes to my Curve 8530 unless I have played that playlist all the way through on iTunes. This phenomenon absolutely mystifies me. If I partially play a playlist on iTunes (eg start a few songs out of an 11 song playlist), Media Sync will allow me to sync the playlist, but then tell me that the other songs I didn't play in iTunes "can not be found" and only transfers the ones I played. If no songs in the playlist have been played, the playlist is completely grayed out in Media Sync and unavailable to transfer.
Anyone else experience this maddening problem? I don't want to have to manually play every song before I transfer it. Any ideas? Thanks a bunch in advance. |
