BB Desktop Software 6.0 - Sync Issue
 
Hello everyone!

I have an 8520 through Rogers. I recently re-imaged my laptop and installed BB Desktop 6.0. I had 6.0 before I re-imaged and all was working fine. My BB was syncing address books for three of my email address and Facebook birthdays (not sure how the Facebook sync started but I think it had something to do with my upgrade to Office 2010).

So, when I went sync for the first time on the new re-imaged laptop, it (the BB) now thinks that my Outlook Calander is the Facebook Calander. I have no idea how that happened! I checked the mapping in BB Desktop and it seems okay.

Is there anyway to amend these sort of things? I've looked both on the BB and within the BB Desktop program and can't find it.

Default Calendar service is changed after installing Facebook for BlackBerry smartphones version 1.5

Overview

After installing Facebook for BlackBerry smartphones version 1.5, the default calendar service on the BlackBerry smartphone might switch from the BlackBerry® Internet Service calendar to the Facebook calendar. Any events added to the calendar are attached to the Facebook calendar unless the default service is switched manually.

This issue can also affect web-based BlackBerry® Device Software updates. The web-based BlackBerry Device Software update might indicate that the BlackBerry smartphone is on a BlackBerry® Enterprise Server and it is unable to complete the update.

Complete the following steps to resolve this issue:

On the BlackBerry smartphone, go to Options > Advanced Options > Service Book.
Find and delete the Facebook [CICAL] entry.
Upgrade to Facebook for BlackBerry smartphones version 1.6.

Complete the following steps to verify and change the default calendar service:

From the BlackBerry smartphone Home screen, select Options.
Select Advanced Options.
Select Default Services.
Press the BlackBerry Menu key and then select Change Option to view and change the preferred calendar.
